O U T T A K E S II

Summer 17 was a B I G learning curve for us here at Bloom Collective, we worked throughout last Winter & early Spring to prepare our small cutting patch for the growing season - it was the first time we had attempted to grow any of our own flowers and we took advice from everywhere and everyone we could - books & magazines, family & friends, florists & growers (thank you) - when late Spring came we saw our hard work start to slowly take shape and the colour started to appear; We made mistakes and had successes but to be involved in the process from the ground up was a pleasure, we feel like we understand the changing seasons a little more now, our eyes were opened to the true nature and fragility of flowers (using a tiny portion of home grown for arrangements also felt really exciting) but most of all our appreciation of flowers has grown and keeps growing.
