Readers that follow us on social media will know that we like to update our Instagram stories ALOT ( for those of you that don't use Insta this is a reel of images and videos that disappear from your page after 24 hours) . We find that this is a good place for us to share photographs that inspire us day to day but aren't necessarily always flowery, we were thinking that it might be cool to start a monthly journal post to use as a place to keep some of these photographs more permanently. We just returned from a really inspiring buying trip to France and we thought this might be a good place to start with Chapter 1, so find below a million pictures that are not always flowery but are a mix of everything that inspires us on the daily.
When Glynis Powell General Manager at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens contacted me at Bloom about potentially working together I was really excited, Glynis invited me to visit and I was given a tour of the gardens - I was so inspired. I knew this was the place we had to hold our first Still Life workshop & Glynis kindly agreed. Fast forward a couple of months and last Sunday 23rd July we hosted 8 guests at this very special flower class in The Orangery at CBHG. We were truly blown away by the beautiful pieces each and every person that joined us created so thank you Lucia, Karen, Betul, Lou, Karen, Jeeyeon, Hye, Sophie, Abigail and finally Glynis + everyone at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens - if you live in Birmingham, please visit, it's magic.
